The Spies That Death Forgot v1.5 update
The Spies That Death Forgot, my game about retro espionage action, has just received its first big update!
This update corrects one or two textual errors, but mostly it adds three whole new pages: a page detailing the mid-'60s Cold War setting in general terms, meant to get new players and GMs up to scratch with the general mood and themes of this period in history; a page detailing a few sample villainous factions, and how to make your own; and a worksheet for tracking details of an ongoing, multi-plot campaign. They also include some snazzy new art, including a handy world-map for taking notes on.
These little additions are mostly meant to facilitate long-term play a bit more and double-down on the semi-fictionalised historical setting. The second page especially is intended for GMs to use to flesh out longer-running games where a meta-villain becomes more important to establish, in the style of the Bond films' SPECTRE organisation, or the Mission: Impossible movies' recent run of films that featured the rogue nation of "the Syndicate" as a background source of baddies.
Also, this is v1.5 because the first version was v1, of course, and you never know - I may even make more updates. Watch this space!
Anyway, let me know what you think of the new additions. Get spyin', y'all.
