Theatre Night

Theatre Night is a one-shot roleplaying game about plays in the Jacobean tradition - high emotion, dastardly plots, gore and murder, greed and power. You and your players will work together to put on the night’s show, pitting the Protagonists against each other, playing to the Themes (Violence, Revenge, Tragedy, Treachery, Greed, or Power), and swinging the Favour of the audience. The Patron presides over it all, using their Influence to push the play as far as it will go.

During play, you'll set up Scenes, play out bitter Conflicts, and drive your characters toward a no-doubt tragic and bloody end. Break a leg.

Theatre Night is a short-form game intended for groups of 2-4 players, plus one person taking on the role of the Patron. Play length is adjustable, but two to three hours is a good fit.
